Explores mathematics as it applies to real-life situations with an emphasis on understanding mathematical concepts and their applications. Topics include: set theory, probability, statistics, finance, geometry, and algebraic functions and operations.
A study of functions, including power, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Also includes matrices, conic sections, vectors, polar coordinates and equations, sequences and series, and an introduction to limits and derivatives.
Multivariable calculus, or Calculus 3, expands on the principles learned in the first two semesters of Calculus, with emphasis on multivariate functions, partial derivatives, multiple integration, solid analytical geometry, vector valued functions, and line and surface integrals.
